Hybrid Automobile Electric Motor Repair - save hundreds off the price of a new electric motor for your Toyota Prius, Honda Hybrids, GM, Ford and Chrysler models and more!
Windmill Generator Service and Repair - we have the equipment and parts for repair of your windmill generators in house.
Solar Power Inverter Service and Repair - we can save you money on buying a new inverter by repairing your existing one. Often repairs run 1/3 to 1/2 the price of new.
Hydro Electric Coil Service and Repair - reconditioning of pole pieces
"Green My Factory" - plant inspections which are gaureenteed to save you thousands of dollars anually. We check for compressed air and other gas leaks utilizing our Ultrasonic Analyzer, look for heat signatures on equipment and electrical cabinets with our infrared camara, check current on large motors, etc. to find areas where your plant is wasting energy. This goes way beyond the typical energy audit.

About Us

American MTS began as American Rewinding in Monroe, NC in 1972 primarily servicing the textile industry. Over the years market conditions have changed requiring the company to change and diversify. In 2005 American Rewinding purchased the assets of Motor and Transformer Services and merged the operations to form American MTS. In 2007, long time employees Louis Stegall and Danny Plyler became partners in the business.
