Transformer Design and Build
From engineering design to finished product we are your source for new custom transformers and redesigned or duplicated units. We use the latest high efficiency materials and practices to insure optimum operating performance at a very competitive cost.

Compressors, Pumps and Gear boxes
Gearboxes from Grove Gear, pumps and air compressors are available at 25-50% off list. We are an authorized distributor and warranty center for Campbell Housfeld.

About Us

American MTS began as American Rewinding in Monroe, NC in 1972 primarily servicing the textile industry. Over the years market conditions have changed requiring the company to change and diversify. In 2005 American Rewinding purchased the assets of Motor and Transformer Services and merged the operations to form American MTS. In 2007, long time employees Louis Stegall and Danny Plyler became partners in the business.
