Transformer Services
Oil filled, dry type, inductors, coils, generator poles, power conditioners, inductors, induction heaters & furnaces are part of our induction capabilities.

Fabrication, assembly, generator pole pieces, Belzona coatings and more.

PdM Services
We now offer a range of predictive maintenance services from assistance in developing in house programs to full blown weekly or monthly condition monitoring.

Pumps and Compressor Service
We offer repair services on large and small pumps from may manufacturers. We also service and sell air compressors.

Green Services
Electric Automobile Motors (Hybrid), Windmill Generator Repair, Solar Power Inverters and complete green factory inspections are some of the new services we are offering.

About Us

American MTS began as American Rewinding in Monroe, NC in 1972 primarily servicing the textile industry. Over the years market conditions have changed requiring the company to change and diversify. In 2005 American Rewinding purchased the assets of Motor and Transformer Services and merged the operations to form American MTS. In 2007, long time employees Louis Stegall and Danny Plyler became partners in the business.
